About Me

Hi, I’m Sirui Chen!

I am a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I completed my Master’s degree of computer science from Renmin University of China, advised by Prof. Jun Xu. Prior to that, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Tsinghua University.

The long-term goal of my research is to develop a reliable and controllable AI system that is fully aligned with human intentions. Specifically, my current research focuses on modeling interactivity and enhancing controllability within complex scenarios, such as recommender systems and multi-agent systems.

I love using my research to solve actual problems in areas like online shopping, healthcare, and other fields. I actively seek opportunities to collaborate with industry partners and translate my work into practical impact.

I’m always excited to talk about research and happy to work together or visit if you’re interested in studying graph mining or ai alignment. Don’t hesitate to get in touch!
